Anyway, I was thinking about how they got him all polished up before he was elected president. They even got him to pronounce nuclear correctly. But, now, he's back to his old self, or worse. I haven't heard him pronounce nuclear correctly in a couple of years.
As someone who has been sleep deprived for years, I feel that I can recognize the symptoms when I see them. The bleary eyes, the foggy brain, the blurred speech, the problems thinking things through before the words come out of your mouth.
My personal approval rating of the prez has been going down right along with the rest of the country, but now I feel sorry for him. I know how it feels to be sleep deprived and have everyone think you're just stupid. But at least I don't have the world watching when I screw up.

Stop feeling sorry for him! If we don't have him to hate we will have to find somebody else. I am too sleepy to hunt for a new goof/stooge. What he needs to do is get some better advisors or his ears cleaned. I say this because either he is being advised poorly or he just is not listening. Maybe it will be like it was with Ronald Reagan. You know how everyone made fun of his memory and years later we find out he had Alzheimer's disease? Maybe we will find out President Bush is deaf.
You always have a unique way of looking at things. It makes the rest of us have to really think things through to decide if we agree with you, or if you're just mentally ill ;0) BTW, I think he is being advised poorly...
President Bush seems so clueless its hard to understand how he was elected governor of Texas. I do feel that he might have lost both elections but who am I. I don't know how he regressed from 2004. He did seem to talk better. It took him 4 years to learn how to speak and then just went down hill again.
Mom's right, he used to be a lot better. I wasn't embarrassed to have him for president until his second term. I also think that his advisors are doing a fine job, he's just not listening to them. He's pigheaded.
